1 min readMinister of State for Women’s Affairs Dr Ahd Jaasous thanked the political leadership, represented by Presidential Leadership Council Chairman Dr Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi and Prime Minister Dr Shae’a Al-Zandani, for the confidence placed in her through her appointment and for strengthening women’s presence in the leadership of state institutions, in line with Yemen’s international commitments on women’s rights.
She said women are an essential force in building the state and affirmed that the ministry will work to promote justice and transparency while recognizing the scale of its responsibility at this critical time.
She and the ministry’s staff, she added, look forward to working diligently to activate the ministry’s vital role, uphold the rule of law and strengthen institutional work in the public interest.
