Peace, mercy, and blessings of Allah be upon you,
On the occasion of the 64th anniversary of the glorious 26 September Revolution, it is my pleasure, on my own behalf and on behalf of Yemeni women, to extend to Your Excellency my sincere congratulations and best wishes on this enduring national occasion, which embodied the Yemeni people’s aspiration for liberation from tyranny and the Imamate, and laid the foundations of the Republic, freedom, and equal citizenship.
Yemeni women were among those who benefited most significantly from the gains of the Revolution, as it opened doors to education, employment, and participation in public life. They have demonstrated their role as active partners in building the Republic and advancing development, and have remained committed to the principles of September throughout the various stages of the national struggle.
Today, Yemeni women stand at the forefront of those defending the Republic and the state, bearing the burdens of war and the consequences of the coup, while continuing their struggle across various fields, supporting the heroes of the armed forces and the resistance, and upholding their right to a homeland governed by freedom, justice, and equal citizenship.
As we commemorate the sacrifices of the September revolutionaries and the martyrs of the Republic, we affirm that it is our generation’s responsibility to continue their path, work toward restoring the state and its institutions, and bring an end to the Houthi coup and its Imamate project, toward a Yemen that regains its security and stability, and in which Yemenis reclaim the spirit, values, and gains of September.
We ask Allah to protect Yemen and its people, have mercy on the martyrs of the Revolution and the Republic, and grant our political leadership and government success in fulfilling their national responsibilities. May this anniversary return with victory achieved for the Yemeni people and the restoration of the state.
